Lecture of the Week: Alister McGrath on Discipleship of the Mind

Alister McGrath is Professor of Theology, Ministry, and Education at King’s College in London and head of its Center for Theology, Religion and Culture. He received a Doctorate of Divinity (DD) in 2001 for his work in historical as well as systematic theology, including a Doctorate of Letters (2013) for research in intellectual history and the relation of science and religion. He has published over 50 books, including his recent publication, C.S. Lewis: A Life (2013), which is a fantastic read.

  1. I’m afraid this comment is not going to approach the meat of McGrath’s points, mostly because some things need to be digested! But good find. I find that anything said in that accent makes the thing said sound much, much more wiser and insightful. If I was an administrator of a department, of any sort but especially academic, I would pay a premium for the accent.
