John Polkinghorne is a theoretical physicist and a theologian – Anglican Priest – who has done much work in particle physics (quarks, gluons, etc.) He has also done a lot of interesting work in the debate between science and religion. He was the founding President of the International Society for Science and Religion, and in 2002 was awarded the Templeton Prize for Progress Towards Research of Discoveries about Spiritual Realities. His major works include:
