Lecture of the Week: Alvin Plantinga on Science and Religion

Protestant philosopher Alvin Plantinga (Ph.D.) has served on faculty for Calvin College and the University of Notre Dame for a number of years, and has done much work in areas of epistemology, philosophy of religion, metaphysics of modality, the problem of evil, and many other areas. For a more in depth biography of Plantinga, see my post here for Philosopher Friday.

This particular talk is Plantinga’s analysis of the relationship and “conflict” between science and religion – drawing upon many contemporary voices in this subject such as Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Francisco Ayala, and many others. Enjoy!
